SUNY Geneseo is participating in one of the National Issues Forum's Deliberative Dialogues on the environment. The specific focus of this dialogue is centered on energy. The campus community is invited to participate in the discussions about the choices we are facing as a nation with our dependence on foreign energy, fossil fuels, and our appetite for increased energy.

Lunar Eclipse Viewing with Astronomy Club

When: Moon beings moving into Earth's shadow at 8:45 PM (for a partial eclipse); totality is at 10:01 and ends at 10:51.  The Moon should move out of Earth's shadow at about midnight.  The event will likely start at about 9:30, just after the partial eclipse starts but before totality begins. Binoculars will be passed around.
