SUNY Geneseo and Livingston County is focusing its attention on environmental and energy issues. Several departments, student groups and environmental organizations planned activities and programs designed to inform and educate the campus community on creating a sustainable future through conservation and green initiatives.

Cosponsors signed on so far include the Environmental Impact and Sustainability Task Force, Campus Auxiliary Services (CAS) Division of Student & Campus Life, Residence Life, Center for Community, College Union & Activities, University Police, GOLD, Activities Commission, the Geneseo Environmental Organization (GEO), the Livingston County Chamber of Commerce, Student Association, and the Office of the President.
